Hey guys! Thought I’d give you a little update about what I’m up to this month – fairly busy on the uni front, but I’m going to try to fill you in what I’m going to do music, YouTube, etc wise!

•  As you may know, I’m on a mini-hiatus from composing until the Christmas holidays, where I’ll have more free time, and more motivations to continue with re-arranging what ideas I have, and I’ll also be starting my composition module soon after that, to hopefully gain more ideas, or even develop new material! Watch out in the new year where I’ll start regularly updating about my compositional projects.
• Speaking of which, I have started an untitled project with my friend, based on djent-influenced progressive metal, taking influences from Periphery, Animals As Leaders and Tesseract. My friend coming from more of a djent/core background, whilst I’m from a progressive/fusion background, it’s interesting to combine sounds and ideas, and see the results of that. It’s a really exciting progress on the writing front, and I hope to update you more on it once we develop and start recording more material.
• YouTube plans. I hope to do some improv over a more traditional jazz sound, and have arranged a variation of N.Simone’s Feeling Good to do so. I have yet to think about what my other video idea may be, but I will of course let you know in due course – in fact, what type of thing would you want me to do next? A lesson? A jam track?
